The Opportunity

As a Project Manager in our Facilities Services team, you'll deliver a wide range of refurbishment, maintenance and fit-out projects across our estate. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are safe, efficient and deliver real value. Your work will support EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain. Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role offers flexible working with weekly travel required. You can be based in a location that works for you, with projects delivered across the UK, including sites near London, South East and South West. You'll manage multiple projects from inception to completion, working with internal and external specialists. From planning and procurement to delivery and handover, you'll ensure the highest standards are met while building strong stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Who You Are

As a Project Manager, you're organised, proactive and confident in managing complex construction projects. You communicate clearly, build strong relationships and take ownership of delivery. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

  • Proven experience managing construction or property projects from feasibility through to completion
  • Strong understanding of construction and project management processes
  • Experience overseeing design, procurement and construction phases
  • A relevant qualification in project management or a related discipline and professional membership such as RICS, CIOB, CIBSE or APM
  • Strong commercial awareness and numeracy skills
  • Confidence using IT systems to manage projects and reporting

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering multiple projects safely, on time and within budget
  • Managing stakeholders, suppliers and contractors across project lifecycles
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Monitoring performance, risks and opportunities to drive value for money
  • Supporting innovation and continuous improvement across project delivery
