The Opportunity
As a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partner, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe and supportive environment for our people. Working within our Customers and Corporate team, you’ll help us deliver An Electric Britain by ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll use your understanding of key UK Health & Safety legislation such as the Health and Safety at Work Act etc., Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, and relevant ACOPs to support leaders in meeting their legal duties and driving a strong safety culture. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home and attend our offices in London when necessary. You’ll collaborate with leaders and teams to identify risks, implement improvements, and share best practice. From policy development to hands-on guidance, you’ll make sure our people go home safe – physically and mentally.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a human approach. To be shortlisted, you’ll need:
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and wellbeing principles, systems, and legislation, including practical application of UK H&S regulations and statutory requirements
- Knowledge of electrical safety, gas safety, COSHH, CDM, RAMS, and occupational health
- Experience providing advice and support in a similar environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and turn insights into practical actions
- NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety (or working towards)
- Membership of IOSH (or working towards)
- NEBOSH or IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management (Preferable)

- Supporting delivery of health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives across Customers and Corporate
- Advising leaders on compliance and best practice
- Managing policies, processes, and investigations
- Using data and insights to drive continuous improvement
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and trade unions
