About the Role
Are you ready to play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects that help power Britain’s journey to net zero? As a Contract and Commercial Manager at EDF Power Solutions, you’ll protect value, shape outcomes and support major onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects across the UK.
The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for the commercial health of large capital renewable projects, providing trusted quantity surveying and contract management expertise from pre-construction through delivery. Your work will help ensure projects are commercially robust, well governed and built on strong supplier relationships. Working closely with project teams, procurement, finance and legal colleagues, you’ll have the space to influence decisions, sharpen your commercial judgement and grow your expertise across a diverse renewables portfolio. We’ll support your development and encourage a practical, continuous improvement mindset. This role offers flexible working locations, with opportunities to work across our UK sites and offices including London and Edinburgh. Travel will vary by project and may include visits to UK sites and occasional European travel to meet suppliers and EDF entities.

Who You Are
We’re looking for an experienced Contract and Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor who is commercially focused, confident working with complex contracts and motivated by delivering value in renewable energy projects. To be shortlisted, you’ll need to offer…
- A degree in quantity surveying or a similar discipline
- Chartered membership of RICS
- Proven experience managing contracts, valuations, cost reports and payment processes
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC forms of contract
- Experience of cost reporting, forecasting, accruals and change control on large projects

- Managing commercial performance across assigned renewable energy projects
- Preparing cost estimates, cost reports and forecasts aligned to project maturity
- Leading valuation, payment, variation and final account processes
- Providing clear commercial and contractual advice to project teams
