Job Responsibilities:
- Operate dozers for grading, levelling, pushing material, and preparing sites as per project requirements.
- Conduct pre-start checks and daily maintenance to ensure the dozer is in safe and efficient working condition.
- Work closely with site supervisors, surveyors, and other operators to ensure precise execution of tasks.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and site-specific regulations.
- Monitor and manage material movement to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
- Use GPS and machine control systems (if applicable) to achieve accurate grading and earthworks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily tasks and equipment use.
Qualifications:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for Dozers.
GPS Machine Control:
- Previous experience with GPS machine control systems such as Trimble, Topcon, or Leica for precise grading and automated operation.
- Ability to adjust settings and troubleshoot minor issues related to machine control systems.
Diverse Site Operations:
- Exposure to a variety of projects, including infrastructure, residential developments, earthworks, and environmental remediation.
Team Collaboration:
- History of working collaboratively with surveyors, site supervisors, and other equipment operators to achieve project goals efficiently.
Additional Plant Machinery Experience:
- Experience operating other heavy machinery, such as excavators, ADTs, or compactors, is advantageous.
