  • Negotiating and structuring complex commercial agreements (PPAs and other instruments including ROCs and REGOs), identifying risks and opportunities, and devising appropriate terms and conditions
  • Making data-driven commercial decisions using financial analysis and market insight. You'll know your numbers, can analyse trends, and have exceptional commercial acumen
  • Managing senior internal and external stakeholders to secure deal approval and support growth
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities within competitive energy or commodity markets
  • Defining and delivering strategy, translating it into actionable plans and embedding change

  • Demonstrating strong understanding of GB renewables markets and certificate mechanisms such as ROCs and REGOs
  • Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience

  • Setting team objectives and managing performance to achieve commercial and operational targets
  • Developing trading and hedging strategies for renewable certificates to meet regulatory obligations
  • Building and maintaining relationships across internal functions, external renewable generators, and market participants
  • Driving innovation, proposition improvement and systems/process enhancements across the PPA function, with responsibility for our change roadmap
  • Contributing to our marketing strategy and playing an active role at events and conferences
