The Opportunity

As an ETRM Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building and improving the trading systems that sit at the heart of our wholesale business. Working within our Trading Risk Management Centre of Excellence, you'll help deliver secure, scalable solutions that connect systems, data and people supporting smarter decisions across energy markets. Your work will directly contribute to how we operate today, and how we evolve for tomorrow. Who You Are

We're looking for an analytical ETRM Developer who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and building effective software solutions in a collaborative environment. Do you offer:

  • Proven experience with SQL, including writing and optimising queries
  • Experience working with trading platforms or within an energy trading environment
  • Software development experience in at least one language (e.g. .NET, Java, Node.js)
  • Experience designing, building or supporting software solutions in a commercial environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing, developing and improving trading and risk management system components
  • Translating business requirements into scalable, effective technical solutions
  • Working with stakeholders to deliver features that support trading operations
  • Building and maintaining integrations across systems and data sources
  • Supporting live systems, including debugging, monitoring and continuous improvement
