As a Quality Management Lead, you’ll support teams to deliver quality that builds confidence across a major infrastructure programme. The Opportunity
As a Quality Management Lead, you’ll help ensure quality requirements are met throughout the full lifecycle of the Hinkley Point C project. Your work will support the transition towards An Electric Britain, giving you the chance to influence one of the UK’s most ambitious low‑carbon developments. Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role is based at Hinkley Point C. You’ll have hybrid working and occasional travel to other sites, agreed with your Line Manager. You’ll join a team that values clarity, collaboration and continuous improvement in every stage of project delivery. You’ll work with project teams and supply chain partners to keep quality on track across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning. You’ll also have opportunities to deepen your expertise, build strong relationships and make a direct impact on the quality outcomes of a nationally significant programme.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Quality Management Lead who brings clear communication, curiosity and a practical approach to solving challenges. You’ll enjoy working with others and helping teams deliver work that’s right first time. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:
- Experience in project delivery, preferably in the nuclear power sector
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control in major engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning projects
- Knowledge of quality management best practice for large, complex, contract‑led organisations
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations to different audience sizes
- Ability to support practical solutions while considering others’ ideas
- Experience working with project teams and supply chain partners
- Ability to analyse data, prepare reports and make recommendations
- Ability to influence and offer constructive challenge that is well received
- Ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
- A collaborative approach and awareness of how your role supports others
- A proactive, flexible way of working and the confidence to plan independently
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensuring suppliers meet contracted quality requirements
- Reviewing, accepting and monitoring Contractor Quality Assurance Plans
- Producing Project Quality Control Plans and supporting key quality processes
- Coordinating manufacturing and site surveillance activities
- Providing quality expertise to project teams to support right first time delivery
