The Opportunity
Are you interested in being part of one of the major infrastructure projects in the UK at Hinkley Point C? Our HR Apprenticeship is one of the most exciting HR apprenticeship opportunities in the UK. We are offering a starting salary of circa £25,000 per annum and the chance to achieve a Level 5 HR Consultancy Apprenticeship and a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.
This 24-month programme combines practical experience with structured learning, giving you insight into HR operations, recruitment, and employee engagement. This role includes a fully funded Level 5 People Professional apprenticeship (CIPD accredited) delivered by Weston College. Training is mainly remote, with one evening session per week (6pm–9pm), plus three face-to-face sessions scheduled in advance.
Your Work Location
You will be based at EDF sites supporting Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. Travel between locations may be required, giving you exposure to different teams and projects across EDF.

Who You Are
To be eligible for this EDF apprenticeship programme, you need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including Maths and English), plus two A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification. Our Assessment Centre will take place at Cannington Court, Bridgwater on Wednesday 22nd April 2026. You will bring curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for helping people succeed.
Security Vetting
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will ordinarily require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
