The Opportunity
As a Risk and Compliance Manager (Commercial), you’ll support Hinkley Point C by shaping how commercial risk is identified, managed and monitored. You’ll help deliver our contribution to the transition towards An Electric Britain while influencing decision‑making at a strategic level. You’ll join us on a salary starting from £82,000 per annum, with hybrid working that includes a minimum of two days each week at our #AztecWest office.
You’ll collaborate with commercial leaders and technical specialists, developing deep insight into supply chain complexity and programme risk. You’ll coordinate commercial risk oversight, support dispute avoidance and provide clear, actionable intelligence. You’ll work across multidisciplinary teams to shape reporting, influence direction and strengthen how commercial risks are understood and addressed across Hinkley Point C.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager (Commercial) who brings structure, clarity and strategic thinking to complex contractual environments. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:
- Strong understanding of risk and supply chain complexity
- Demonstrable commercial acumen in high‑risk contract environments
- Experience applying commercial judgement to complex issues
- Ability to interpret and present risk clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience managing or supporting commercial contract oversight
Security Vetting
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.

- Providing strategic oversight of commercial risks across the supply chain
- Supporting dispute avoidance and escalation processes
- Coordinating experts including Forensic Planners and Quantum specialists
- Ensuring commercial risks are recorded, assessed and reported effectively
