About the role
We are recruiting a Compliance Coordinator, a crucial role within Torness Power Station required to ensure we remain compliant with our Site Licence and Statutory regulations. This key position is to control all aspects of Compliance Monitoring including reporting and delivery of all online and Outage activities, liaising with all Station Departments and external bodies.
What you will be doing
You will support the Work Management Group Head in ensuring the station’s compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This includes scheduling and monitoring maintenance activities, managing documentation such as Written Schemes of Examination, and using asset management systems to maintain configuration control. You’ll work to fixed deadlines, particularly around outage preparation, and communicate with stakeholders to highlight potential compliance issues that could affect nuclear safety or operations.
Who you are
Candidates should hold a relevant HNC or equivalent qualification and ideally have broad plant knowledge with an understanding of operational and maintenance constraints, preferably in power station environments although relevant experience in technical, operational, or engineering roles from other high‑hazard industries will be considered.
The role ideally requires familiarity with nuclear and conventional plant systems, site licence conditions, and associated legislation. You’ll need to analyse complex information under pressure, apply Human Performance tools effectively, and be proficient in Microsoft applications and other relevant asset management systems.

Pay, Benefits & Culture
The salary range associated with this role is between £45,641 – £95,993. The starting salary for this appointment will be within the range of £45,641 – £81,263 and you’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications. Please be aware this is a full‑time, site‑based role.
