The Opportunity
The Sales Operations Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless and timely delivery of customer offers and accurate customer onboarding to enable timely first billing – laying the foundation for an exceptional customer experience.
You’ll optimise the team’s activities to enable the different Sales Teams to achieve their sales target and ensure the growth and strategic value of Mid-Market.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the Sales Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational transformation by implementing new technologies and integrating onboarding activities into the team to ensure readiness, scalability, and long-term efficiency. You will lead the entire ‘Tender to Contract’ process, generating customer offers and quotes with speed, accuracy, and full compliance with internal and external standards.

A key responsibility will be overseeing the operational setup of new customers in our systems, ensuring a seamless transition and accurate, timely first billing. You’ll manage and inspire both UK-based and offshore operational teams, cultivating a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and results.
Through continuous process optimisation, you’ll use data and feedback to streamline workflows and eliminate friction points. Your focus on customer experience will drive operational practices that enhance satisfaction and reduce time-to-value. Additionally, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Billing, IT, and Customer Service to ensure alignment and operational readiness across the board.

Who You Are
We’re looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in operational roles, process management, or commercial operations – ideally within the utilities sector or similar industries.
You will bring proven leadership capabilities, having successfully managed hybrid teams across both onshore and offshore environments. A sharp analytical mindset and a deep passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement are essential.

You’ll have a track record of driving process improvement, leading change management initiatives, and delivering customer-centric operations.
Your commitment to creating smooth, timely, and value-driven interactions will be key to enhancing customer satisfaction and building trust.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and possesses strong foresight. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are a must, as you’ll be working across teams to align operational goals and deliver outstanding results
