Last year, we moved over 1,600 packages containing radioactive material to support our operational fleet and defuelling stations. Our Radioactive Materials Package Design Authority plays a crucial role in ensuring that EDF Energy has transport solutions to move radioactive materials safely and compliantly, within the UK and overseas.
We’re looking for a Radioactive Materials Transport Package Engineer to work within the multidisciplinary Spent Fuel Services Team that delivers our Dual Mission: the safe defuelling of our AGR nuclear reactors and supporting continued operations at our existing AGR.
