The Opportunity
Our Project Management Degree Apprenticeship offers a starting salary of £25,139 and the opportunity to achieve a BSc Honours in Project Management. This four-year programme combines academic learning with practical experience. You’ll develop skills in project planning, cost management, and safe delivery, while rotating through different teams to understand how projects succeed across EDF. The programme is primarily delivered in day-release mode by the University of Cumbria, with learning on a fixed day each week from 9am to 5pm. At the start, there is usually a more intensive block of study (around late September) to help learners get to know each other, their tutors, and University systems. Normal day-release delivery then begins from October. Learning runs throughout the calendar year and includes formal University sessions and guided independent study. Most learning is online, with some optional in-person opportunities. The full timetable will be provided once a place on the course is confirmed.
