The Opportunity
This 12‑month placement offers a starting salary of £24,500 and the chance to work at #Bridgwater on the Hinkley Point C construction site or Satellite Delivery Centre – both part of the largest construction project in Europe.
What You’ll Be Doing
During your placement you will:
- Work on multidisciplinary teams of engineers to address engineering challenges related to the installation of electrical and mechanical components.
- Assist in safety improvement campaigns, radiation protection strategies and condition monitoring programmes across operational sites.
- Support technical assessments and help ensure nuclear safety remains uncompromised.
Your Work Location
You’ll be based at the #Bridgwater Hinkley Point C construction site or Satellite Delivery Centre, where you’ll be part of a team driving progress on one of the UK’s most significant energy projects.
Who You Are
To be eligible for this EDF industrial placement you need to be on track to achieve – or have already achieved – a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree (2:2 or higher) in Mechanical Engineering.
