About the Role
Hybrid | Permanent | Starting from £63,000
As a Full Stack Software Engineer you’ll be part of a product team delivering digital solutions that support our customers. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle from idea to production, using modern cloud and DevOps practices, and own the solution from development to deployment and support.
The Opportunity
You’ll build and run cloud‑native applications on AWS, develop APIs and front‑end features, and take responsibility for the operational performance. You’ll work in an Agile team with product owners, architects and engineers to continuously improve and evolve our platforms.
Who You Are
- Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys owning solutions end‑to‑end
- Comfortable in Agile teams, building scalable systems, and solving real customer problems
Are you experienced in:
- Building and running cloud‑native applications on AWS, including serverless architectures
- Developing backend services using Node.js, Python, Java or similar server‑side languages
- Designing and integrating REST APIs and third‑party services
- Developing front‑end applications using React and TypeScript
- Working with event‑driven, loosely coupled architectures and messaging patterns
- Writing testable code using TDD/BDD approaches and automated testing tools
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins or Terraform
- Supporting live services with monitoring, debugging and continuous improvement
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, building and running full‑stack applications across cloud, backend and front end
- Developing secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and services
- Delivering features using Agile and DevOps practices, from concept to production
- Writing automated tests and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
