Reward
- £36,500 - £48,500 according to experience (We have a graded reward package to suit new entrants to the renewables industry through to the most experienced Wind Turbine Technicians).
- Working hours - New Technician (37hrs) plus overtime is available.
- 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

What you’ll do
- Become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants.
- Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.
- Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements.
- Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.
- Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride in the assets that you maintain.
- Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.
- Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment.

Who are you?
- Physically fit, safety-focused, and love hands-on work.
- Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations.
- Enthusiastic about green energy.
What skills do you need?
- You’ll be a skilled engineer with great electrical maintenance experience, having worked on three phase systems or heavy plant electrical.
- Previous experience on wind farms is beneficial, but not essential. We can train you to multi-skill.
Location
Brucefield Industrial Estate, Livingston, EH54 9BU. For this role, you will generally be located within 45 minutes of the site (Forth Valley region).
