The Opportunity

Alongside earning a salary of £35,000 per annum, you’ll join a structured development programme designed to build your commercial awareness, leadership skills and confidence. You’ll be supported by mentors and industry experts as you explore different areas of the business. Over the course of this two-year programme, you’ll gain experience across a range of commercial functions – from digital channels and customer strategy to trading and market analysis. You’ll help shape innovative solutions that empower customers to reduce their carbon footprint and support the UK’s Net Zero goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Commercial Graduate at EDF, you’ll gain hands-on experience across four six-month placements; developing technical and professional skills and contributing to meaningful projects that support the UK’s journey to Net Zero. As part of that journey, you will:

  • Analyse market trends and trading decisions to support commercial strategy
  • Identify risks and opportunities across digital and customer channels
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver low-carbon solutions for customers
  • Lead or support projects that improve customer experience and business performance
  • Build your leadership skills through real responsibility and team collaboration

Your Work Location

You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple UK sites, with flexibility to work from home on a hybrid basis. Whether you’re based in London, Exeter, Gloucester or elsewhere, you’ll be supported with practical and financial help to relocate or travel as needed.

To be eligible for this EDF graduate programme, you need to have achieved, or be expecting to achieve, a bachelor’s degree (2:2 or higher) in any field of study.
