Role Overview: Contract and Commercial Manager at EDF Power Solutions will protect value, shape outcomes and support major onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the commercial health of large-capital renewable projects from pre‑construction through delivery.
  • Provide quantity surveying and contract management expertise to guarantee projects are commercially robust, well governed and built on strong supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, procurement, finance and legal colleagues to influence decisions, sharpen commercial judgement and grow across a diverse renewables portfolio.
  • Manage commercial performance, prepare cost estimates, reports and forecasts aligned to project maturity.
  • Lead valuation, payment, variation and final account processes.
  • Provide clear commercial and contractual advice to project teams.
  • Manage supplier relationships, claims and commercial disputes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in quantity surveying or a similar discipline.
  • Chartered membership of RICS.
  • Proven experience managing contracts, valuations, cost reports and payment processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contract forms.
  • Experience with cost reporting, forecasting, accruals and change control on large projects.
