The Opportunity
As Consumer PR and Campaigns Officer, you\’ll support the delivery of consumer-facing PR campaigns that drive awareness and engagement. Your work will help us strengthen brand reputation and support An Electric Britain.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to collaborate virtually and occasionally attend our offices if needed. The salary starts from £40,000, with a competitive benefits package.
Who You Are
We\’re looking for someone who thrives on creativity and collaboration. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

• Experience in PR, communications, or campaigns within a brand or agency environment
• Strong writing and content creation skills
• Familiarity with media relations and campaign coordination
• Ability to work effectively across teams and manage deadlines
• Degree-level education in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Drafting and distributing press releases and media statements
• Supporting delivery of consumer PR campaigns across earned, owned, and shared channels
• Producing engaging content for press, blogs, and social media
• Tracking campaign performance and compiling reports
• Collaborating with influencer, social, and brand teams to amplify campaigns
• Participation in the EDF-wide out of hours duty press cover, managing out of hours press support from 5pm to 9am (estimated to be one week of cover every quarter + max of 2 days festive cover).
