The Opportunity: As a Senior I&C Engineer, you'll play an important role in our Joint Design Office Instrumentation and Control team. You'll lead modifications across the Siemens SPPA-T2000 platform, helping to support commissioning activities and making sure critical plant systems are ready for operation. You'll also help develop engineers within the team, sharing your knowledge and experience. Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, you'll be based full-time on-site at #HPC. You'll work alongside EDF and Siemens specialists on one of the world's largest engineering projects, helping support key commissioning milestones and technical changes as the station moves closer to operation. - Working with complex Instrumentation and Control systems in industrial environments
- Using Siemens SPPA-T2000 technology in an engineering environment
- Assessing the impact of hardware and software modifications to control systems
- Applying a detailed understanding of process signals, logic processing and alarm management
- Working within structured engineering, quality and configuration management processes
- Holding a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or offering equivalent industry experience
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading on-site modifications across the Siemens SPPA-T2000 Standard I&C platform
- Managing impact assessments, engineering changes and configuration control activities
- Overseeing I&C programming activities and design consistency checks
- Supporting verification, validation and functional testing before design releases
- Mentoring engineers and working closely with commissioning teams and Siemens specialists
- Supporting the updates to engineering records, diagrams and technical documentation
- Working closely with commissioning, electrical and system engineering teams
- Supporting Siemens specialists during detailed design activities
- Highlighting risks, opportunities and delivery challenges to support project success
