The Opportunity

As a Cyber Security & Information Assurance Lead, you’ll take ownership of information security assurance across complex systems, ensuring compliance and protecting critical data. Your work will underpin EDF’s journey towards An Electric Britain, safeguarding operational technology and digital platforms that power millions of homes and businesses. You’ll join us on a salary starting at least £64,000 per annum, with potential for an annual bonus. This role will be based at Hinkley Point C (HPC) Site with a mix of in‑office and home working, with an expectation that this will move to daily working on site as the project progresses.

From ISO 27000 and IEC 62243 frameworks to risk management and governance, you’ll lead assurance activities, advise stakeholders and strengthen cyber security controls. EDF will support your development through training, mentoring and opportunities to shape security strategy at scale.

Who You Are

  • Strong experience in information security assurance and technical cyber security
  • Knowledge of operational technology cyber security
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain ISO 27001, 22301 and 9001 standards
  • Relevant Professional Certifications: ISC2 CISSP, ISO27001 Auditor, GIAC GICSP
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Industry Security Regulations and Standards
  • Security clearance (SC) required; British residency for last five years
