As a Commissioning Configuration Engineer, you'll join the Cross Functional Delivery Team supporting commissioning at Hinkley Point C. You'll help manage configuration processes that support the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects. This hybrid role is based from our Bridgwater office, with travel to Hinkley Point C and our Bristol offices as required. You'll work four days per week in the office and one day from home, giving you the opportunity to collaborate closely with key stakeholders while maintaining flexibility.
You'll support the development and continuous improvement of commissioning processes, helping teams navigate complex project requirements while contributing to EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain. This is an excellent opportunity to influence programme-wide activities, build specialist expertise, and work alongside experienced professionals on a nationally significant infrastructure project.
We're looking for a Commissioning Configuration Engineer with relevant engineering qualifications and experience of process development, technical authoring, stakeholder coordination, and work within regulated environments.
- Holding a degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant engineering discipline
- Working within a regulated engineering environment
- Developing, maintaining, and improving engineering or operational processes
- Producing technical documentation and process-related authoring
- Coordinating multiple stakeholders and activities across large-scale projects
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the implementation and management of Commissioning Configuration processes across the commissioning programme
- Providing technical support and guidance to commissioning delivery teams
- Coordinating process kick-off meetings and managing regular stakeholder governance forums
- Delivering process training and helping teams apply configuration management arrangements effectively
- Monitoring process quality, identifying risks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
