Join us to help deliver some of the UK’s largest renewable energy projects. At EDF Power Solutions, you’ll play a key role in building solar and battery storage projects that power Britain’s journey to net zero, supporting projects that make a real difference.

As an Assistant Construction Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of large-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems projects within our Development Consent Order pipeline. You’ll work closely with experienced leaders, helping bring nationally significant infrastructure projects from development into construction and beyond. Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, you’ll join a flexible UK-based team with hybrid working. You’ll regularly visit project sites during development and construction, as well as our London office, gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle. You’ll gain exposure to both development and delivery phases, building your skills in project management, stakeholder engagement and construction coordination. With support from the team, you’ll have opportunities to grow your career while contributing to projects ranging between 400MW and 800MW in scale.

We’re looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager who is motivated, resilient and ready to learn, with a strong commitment to safety, security and environmental responsibility. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

  • Experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects within energy or a comparable sector
  • Exposure to Solar PV, BESS or similar infrastructure systems across installation, commissioning or operations
  • Practical experience applying project management methods to support schedules, budgets and risk management
  • Experience coordinating stakeholders or contractors within construction or project delivery environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting coordination of key stakeholders including utilities, regulators and local authorities
  • Assisting delivery of pre-construction enabling works such as utilities installation and highway improvements
  • Contributing to environmental plans and on-site activities including surveys and early planting works
  • Supporting project management activities including scheduling, risk management and budget tracking
  • Working with the Senior Construction Project Manager to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery
