Overview

Supply Chain Graduate Programme at EDF (UK). You will learn from experts, develop key skills and help Britain achieve net zero. The programme provides rotations across our Nuclear New Build site (Hinkley Point C), operating stations and central Supply Chain Office in Gloucester, with mentoring and industry expertise to build confidence and technical capabilities.

The opportunity includes earning a salary and pursuing a CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, fully funded by EDF. This industry-recognised qualification equips you to apply best practice in Procurement and Supply from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support procurement and contract administration across nuclear sites
  • Forecast contract costs and manage supplier relationships
  • Contribute to strategic sourcing and supply chain transformation
  • Rotate across business units to gain wider commercial insight
  • Work on live projects that deliver tangible benefits to EDF

Your Work Location

You’ll be based at one of our offices in Gloucester, Bristol or Bridgwater, spending up to 6 months of the programme supporting another business unit (Nuclear Operations or HPC) to expand knowledge and experience of the Nuclear Industry.

Who You Are

To be eligible, you need to have achieved, or expect to achieve, a bachelor’s or master’s degree (2:2 or higher) in disciplines such as supply chain and logistics, business management, economics, mathematics, finance or geography. Other degrees may be considered for strong candidates. A driving licence is required due to potential operational shift patterns.

You’ll need a professional outlook, commercial awareness, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Security Vetting

Appointment requires meeting the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will ordinarily require British residency for the last five years.

Pay, Benefits And Culture

Starting salary of at least £35,000 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme.
