The Opportunity…
Here at EDF, we’re looking for an experienced Product Engineer to manage and guide a BAU team and a Dev Ops team focused on Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions across the enterprise.
This role plays a key part in our digital workplace transformation, enabling secure, scalable, and compliant collaboration tools for a geographically distributed and regulated workforce.
We’re looking for someone who can bring deep expertise in M365 and a strong background in Agile team leadership, enterprise IT environments, and operational excellence in the utility sector.
Pay, Benefits And Culture
Alongside a starting salary from £67,000, the potential to earn 5% bonus, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include a range of benefits, from the big and formal to the small and personal.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional Agile team delivering business-critical M365 solutions (e.g., SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform).
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, promote DevOps practices, and drive continuous delivery and improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and collaborative problem-solving.
Technical Strategy & Delivery
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of M365 applications that support business functions like field services, operations, asset management, and corporate services.
- Lead integration efforts with other enterprise platforms
Stakeholder & Product Alignment
- Work closely with business units, product owners, and enterprise architects to define user needs and ensure backlog priorities align with strategic objectives.
- Act as the technical product owner for M365 initiatives within the team, balancing operational demands with innovation opportunities.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory standards, data retention policies, and utility-specific governance models.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience designing and delivering Microsoft 365-based solutions within large enterprise environments, along with a strong background in leading or managing Agile development teams.
You’ll have a deep understanding of utility business processes and operational constraints and proven expertise working with SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and Azure Active Directory.
Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps practices, and Agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe will be highly valued.
Additionally, experience integrating Microsoft 365 solutions with legacy systems or field operations tools, along with knowledge of service management platforms like ServiceNow, would be advantageous.
