About The Role

Are you skilled in data analysis with expertise in compensation and benefits? If so, come and join EDF as a Reward Consultant! The Opportunity: As a Reward Consultant you will provide high quality, professional, specialist advice and guidance on a wide range of reward and benefits matters to HR and managers across EDF Energy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • The Reward Consultant will conduct detailed internal and external pay market analysis, identify external trends to present pragmatic and creative recommendations and develop innovative reward solutions to influence and steer business and HR decision-making.
  • You’ll analyse and apply best practices in benefits, incentive schemes, job evaluation, and benchmarking to develop innovative reward strategies while balancing governance and commercial goals.
  • You will ensure that complex data is presented accurately and of high quality, tailored for the required audience to provide a comprehensive basis for decision-making on risks, costs and policy options for proposals and recommendations ensuring reward and benefits threats, opportunities and issues are understood fully and included in the delivery of the outcome.
  • You will initially provide support for EDF Power Solutions specific reward activity including support for cyclical activity, developing MI and Reporting insights while operating as the first point of contact for Reward queries.
  • You will provide advice to both management and the HR team to ensure internal reward governance and controls are understood, embedded, and adhered to. You will also have the opportunity to deputise for the Senior Reward Manager in their absence.

Who You Are

As a Reward Consultant at EDF, you\’ll demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, specialising in benefits and pay. With strong communication abilities and a customer focused approach, you\’ll simplify complex information and present it with clarity and impact. You’ll have the proven ability to apply critical thinking techniques with a logical and pragmatic approach to resolving complex issues and excellent organisational and collaboration skills to lead the delivery of Reward activities and programmes. We’re looking for someone with in depth technical reward experience including base pay, variable pay, governance, job evaluation methodologies and performance management. You’ll have experience of working in a complex, multi-disciplinary, matrix and cross-cultural environment. If this sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you!
