Are you an experienced construction professional who enjoys working outdoors and supervising a team? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our Civils Construction team as a Working Construction Supervisor at Hinkley Point C.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervising operatives and carrying out construction site activities, including carpentry, excavation, pipe-laying, plant operation, groundworks, and concreting.
  • Ensuring all works are completed and compliant with company policies and procedures, targets are met, and health, safety and quality is always maintained.
  • Managing team awareness to improve safety and reduce accidents/incidents, protecting our workforce from injury.
  • Managing interfaces with other departments, building relationships, promoting a consistent approach, technical advice, and swift resolution of any identified problems.
  • Working within a team that works outdoors in all weathers and deals with different challenges every day, providing a vital service to our client.
  • Embodying our company and client values, and promoting these values through your own and your teams' behaviours.

What you’ll need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, or equivalent with experience in construction/groundworks.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, who will motivate and encourage our Operatives to be the best they can be.
  • Relevant construction site supervisory experience.
  • Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualification.
