Here at GXO, we’re proud to be a Tier One partner to NNB at Hinkley Point C, supporting one of the UK’s most significant nuclear energy projects. We manage critical warehousing and transportation services, keeping the project moving safely and efficiently.

As an HR Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a proactive, high-quality HR service across the site. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers, helping to drive performance, engagement, and a positive workplace culture aligned to GXO’s values.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00, however flexibility is required this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and best practice HR processes
• Manage end-to-end HR casework, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and trade union matters
• Deliver key people processes, including probation, flexible working, maternity/paternity, and engagement activities
• Support recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance and selection of high-quality talent
• Drive HR insight and improvement, analysing data (absence, turnover, etc.) and contributing to the site people plan

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards this, with a proactive, hands‑on and solutions‑focused approach
• Proven HR Advisor experience, with strong exposure to employee relations in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels
• Strong organisation and prioritisation abilities, managing multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, ideally with trade union exposure
