As a Training Instructor, you’ll play a vital role in our Training team, delivering safety-related training and ensuring high standards across our programmes. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to keep our site staff and contractors informed, safe, and empowered. This is your chance to coordinate and oversee training that truly makes a difference. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the learning experience and driving performance improvements across the board.

The salary range associated with this role is between £45,461 to £95,993, however the starting salary for this appointment will likely be made within the range of £45,461 to £81,263. You’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications. We’re talking about everything from enhanced parental leave to electric vehicle leasing, health insurance to product discounts, critical illness insurance to technology vouchers, gym membership to season ticket loans.

At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility while recognising that everyone's working needs are different. Whether you’re in our office spaces, on site, or working remotely, we promote an environment that supports collaboration, connection, and comfort. No matter where you are, our priority is to make sure you feel safe, valued, and celebrated. Here, we do right by each other and everyone’s welcome. We’re on an action-oriented journey, championing equity, diversity, and inclusion. Your role will involve engaging with industry and fleet reviews to uphold training standards, supporting emergency scheme exercises, and liaising with external providers to enrich our training offerings.

Who You Are

You may hold an HNC qualification or have equivalent experience – we value both. What matters most is your ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships. If you’ve taught or instructed before, that’s a bonus, but it’s not essential. We’ll support you every step of the way to achieve EDF FCI (Fleet Certified Instructor) status. If you’re enthusiastic about helping others learn and grow, and you’re ready to bring your unique perspective to our team, we’d love to hear from you.
