The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) are looking to appoint an experienced Change Manager who can deliver outstanding leadership on one of the most high‑profile infrastructure programmes in the UK – Sizewell C. As part of the CWA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of a new 3.2‑gigawatt power station that will generate clean, reliable electricity for around 6 million homes for the next 60 years. This is a unique opportunity to join a project of national significance and lead change management activities across the civils programme. You will ensure robust governance, stakeholder engagement and the successful implementation of change, all while supporting the broader strategic objectives of Sizewell C.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery, governance and compliance of the Change Management process across all sections of the CWA.
  • Manage and coordinate internal change initiatives, collaborating with technical, commercial, and delivery stakeholders to assess and implement programme, design, cost and contractual change.
  • Oversee a broad range of change types, from instructions and variations to compensation events, design changes, sourcing strategies and contingency drawdowns.
  • Ensure the integrity of programme and cost, completing all due diligence and coordinating changes across multiple sections to maintain delivery excellence.
  • Maintain meticulous records for audit and reporting, fostering transparency and trust with the client and CWA partners.
  • Support strategic decision‑making by integrating change data with project controls, cost, time, risk and contract information.
  • Champion the use of leading digital systems such as Oracle Primavera Unifier and automation in all aspects of change management, working closely with digital and IT teams to drive integration.
  • Promote a safety‑first culture across the project, serving as a role model for HSE and nuclear safety leadership.
  • Advocate for the adoption of Digital Engineering and integrated project controls, helping to link business data with project delivery for performance measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across a diverse stakeholder base, anticipating needs, resolving complex issues and acting as a trusted advisor to CWA and Sizewell C clients.
  • Motivate and develop your team, shaping plans and aligning performance across the alliance to consistently deliver on programme goals.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 12‑15 years of experience leading project controls on major infrastructure programmes, preferably with international tier 1 contractors.
  • Professional qualification such as APM PMQ, APMG Project Planning.
