The Opportunity

As a Radiological Protection Engineer, you’ll support the development of world‑class radiological protection capability across the Hinkley Point C project, from design and construction through commissioning and preparations for operation. You’ll provide expert advice, set standards, and help ensure legal and regulatory requirements are met, while promoting best practice and a strong safety culture that supports our journey towards An Electric Britain. Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role is based across Bristol and Bridgwater, with regular engagement at the Hinkley Point C site. You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, from engineering and safety teams to regulators and industry bodies, in a dynamic project environment where flexibility, collaboration and sound judgement are essential. Who You Are

We’re looking for a Radiological Protection Engineer who brings technical credibility, a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to safety.

  • Developing or implementing arrangements that meet the requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to influence safe, compliant outcomes
