The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager within the Conventional Island Turbine team on Hinkley Point C, you will take a central role in delivering major installation activities that support the project’s contribution to the transition towards An Electric Britain. You’ll be accountable for the successful planning and delivery of mechanical installation works across both the Turbine and Conventional Islands, ensuring that safety, quality, time and cost targets are achieved on one of the most complex infrastructure programmes in the world.

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager with proven experience leading delivery in complex, highly regulated environments, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders and managing intricate technical interfaces. Are you experienced in…
- Delivering major projects within regulated industries such as nuclear, energy, or large‑scale infrastructure
- Applying project management qualifications such as APM PPQ, or holding an equivalent certification
- Managing turbine system infrastructure activities (installation, commissioning and/or operation)
- Leading multi‑discipline EPCM projects with strong cost, schedule, risk and change control
- Working with NEC or FIDIC contracts and using earned value, estimating, scheduling, and risk tools
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of mechanical installation activities across Turbine and Conventional Islands
- Managing key contracts and detailed L3/L4 schedules that define weekly and monthly work sequences
- Driving safety, quality, cost, and programme performance across all areas of responsibility
- Leading and developing a diverse project team and establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and resource needs
- Overseeing risk management, budget control, change processes, and interfaces between internal and external stakeholders
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.
