Join our dynamic team as a Construction Delivery Lead and play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale, complex construction projects at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing large, complex construction projects with a focus on civil, mechanical, or electrical disciplines
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and safety standards, NEBOSH, SMSTS, or IOSH qualifications preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports
  • Capable of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, construction sequencing, and resource management
  • Solid understanding of commercial principles affecting construction operations
  • Motivational leadership, with the ability to energize teams and foster trust

Nice to Have Skills

  • Prior experience operating within a high-security or nuclear environment
  • Familiarity with the use of project management tools such as Teamcenter, SWITCH, and relevant surveillance or assurance platforms
  • Experience in mobilizing contractor partners and managing significant site set-up and coordination

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Construction
  • Extensive track record delivering major construction projects, ideally within regulated or high-security sectors
  • NEBOSH, SMSTS, or IOSH certifications are highly desirable

  • Willingness to undertake site-based, often demanding, work and travel as required
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight schedules
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
