The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long‑term careers across our Project. This is a career-defining opportunity to work on a nationally significant project, leading major engineering, procurement and manufacturing activities within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.

We are looking for talented Project Managers to help drive the successful delivery of engineering work by the Responsible Designer (RD), alongside the procurement, manufacturing and delivery of key contracts across the Sizewell C programme. A key focus of the role will be advancing engineering maturity and securing critical supply chain capability through maximum replication of the Hinkley Point C design, helping de‑risk delivery and drive efficiencies across the project.

You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams including supply chain, engineering, quality, construction and delivery partners to prepare for and execute one of the most ambitious infrastructure programmes in Europe. Opportunities are available across several key programme areas:

  • Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC (MEH) - Supporting the development and implementation of the MEH Alliance delivery model, helping shape innovative delivery strategies informed by lessons learned from Hinkley Point C.
  • Nuclear Island (NI) - Leading delivery across systems, buildings and contracts within the Nuclear Island programme, managing technically complex scopes valued up to £100m. Supporting the strategy and delivery of major civil engineering work packages, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Conventional Island & Balance of Plant (CI/BOP) - Overseeing the delivery of engineering contracts and ensuring resources, technical requirements and programme objectives are achieved safely, on time and within budget.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking a strategic overview of Systems, Structures and Components (SSCs) within your programme area.
  • Driving engineering studies and design delivery with the Responsible Designer and key contractors.
  • Supporting the preparation of post‑FID contracts, technical specifications and procurement documentation.
  • Managing technical interfaces across contracts, systems and programme areas.
  • Driving implementation of Sizewell C‑specific design changes into delivery packages.
  • Supporting procurement and supply chain activities for major engineering contracts.
  • Identifying technical risks, obsolescence challenges and opportunities for replication improvement.
  • Developing and implementing delivery strategies aligned to the Programme Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Driving safe, high‑quality delivery against cost and schedule objectives.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction.
  • Supporting continuous improvement, lessons learned and knowledge capture across the programme.
