The Project Management Degree Apprenticeship offers a starting salary of ÂŁ25,139 and the opportunity to achieve a BSc Honours in Project Management. This fourâyear programme combines academic learning with practical experience. Youâll develop skills in project planning, cost management, and safe delivery, while rotating through different teams to understand how projects succeed across EDF.
The programme is primarily delivered in dayârelease mode by University of Cumbria, with learning on a fixed day each week from 9 am to 5 pm. At the start, there is usually a more intensive block of study (around late September) to help learners get to know each other, their tutors, and University systems. Normal dayârelease delivery then begins from October. Learning runs throughout the calendar year and includes formal University sessions and guided independent study. Most learning is online, with some optional inâperson opportunities. The full timetable will be provided once a place on the course is confirmed.
Youâll be based at Hartlepool Power Station.
A structured degree programme delivered by the University of Cumbria includes:

The Assessment Centre will be held in person in Hartlepool. Further details, including the date and exact location, will be shared in due course.
