Opportunity for a Piping Supervisor working with ENKA UK on the Hinkley Point C Project.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide Construction Engineering in accordance with project requirements and procedures.
- Carry out construction engineering work to standards and procedures within the project.
- Maintain the necessary records to ensure full quality assurance requirements are met.
- Carry out construction feasibility and method studies.
- Ensure that all operations under control are carried out in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Responsible for ensuring that all personnel in the group are aware of each Project’s quality requirement.
- Assemble, install and repair Mechanical and associated piping systems according to project specifications and appropriate trade and building codes.
- Make decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with agreed method statements, risk assessments and job safety analysis.
- Ensure that the contractor maintains standards within work areas.
- Coordinate Installation activities for direct hires, temporaries and sub-contractors.
- Housekeeping of the work areas; collection, segregation and disposal of wastes as required; removal of unused materials and clear the work floors to eliminate/reduce slipping or tripping risks in your work area.
- Safe use, protection, storage and care of general maintenance products, hand and power tools.
You must:

- Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
- Follow the training you have received when using any work items your employer has given you.
General Conditions
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Diploma from vocational school of higher education.
- Level 3 Apprenticeship installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems – Pipefitting.
- Enrollment onto ILM Level 3 Award C.
