Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management, review and approval of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) to support project handover, commissioning and asset takeover.
  • Manage and develop a team of Records Support Officers, ensuring timely delivery of quality documentation and records.
  • Coordinate with Project, Quality, Engineering and Contractor teams to ensure compliance with records management processes and Licence Condition 6 (LC6) requirements.
  • Develop and implement LTQR delivery strategies, work instructions, checklists and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor record submissions, metadata quality and project documentation through EDRMS and associated systems.
  • Produce reports, dashboards and progress updates for management and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions and awareness programmes relating to records management and LTQR processes.
  • Support audits, regulatory engagement activities and interactions with the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).
  • Drive process improvements, digital solutions and the adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
  • Ensure effective lifecycle management of project records, maintaining compliance, traceability and information governance standards.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Quality Records, Document Control, Records Management or Project Information Management within highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs), handover documentation and quality assurance processes.
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Licence Conditions, particularly LC6, is desirable.
  • Experience managing stakeholders across project, engineering, quality and contractor teams.
  • Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using document management systems (EDRMS, Asset Suite, Switch or similar).
  • Ability to lead teams, deliver training and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Extensive knowledge around specified technical qualification.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Project management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, construction management and/or I&C or equivalent.
  • Experience in using Electronic Document Management Systems.
  • Vocational training, qualifications and experience within a given specialist field e.g. level 3 Welding qualification or equivalent, Electrical certification (Level 3 diploma in Electrical installations or equivalent), coating qualifications (Accredited member of AMPP or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in the delivery of large, complex projects, including Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical and Industrial with specialism in each area e.g. welding or coatings.
  • Experience of operating in a high security environment.
  • Chartered status.
  • Experience of successfully completing areas of projects with a value of £50M to 100M or similar sized complex projects (£1B - £3B).
  • Experience in the installation and erection of large Petro-chemical, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical plant with nuclear experience being an advantage.
