Working in our Nuclear IT Services team, you’ll help deliver the capabilities supporting the transition towards An Electric Britain. You’ll build trusted cloud services that support critical operations and make a meaningful contribution every day.
This role can be based anywhere across our fleet, working to a hybrid model, giving you the flexibility to balance time at home with time on site when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deploying, managing and enhancing Azure services
- Building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Administration of Windows and Linux systems in Azure
- Supporting automation through PowerShell, Azure CLI and related tools
- Monitoring performance, cost, governance and security across cloud environments
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer who thrives on solving problems, working collaboratively, and delivering effective technical outcomes. Do you offer…?
- Demonstrated capability with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proficiency in Azure Services
- Expertise in Windows and Linux system administration
- Highly proficient with cloud automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Git and Terraform
- Knowledge of network architecture including VPNs, firewalls and secure connectivity
As a minimum, you must hold HNC or above in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field. To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.
Pay, Benefits and Culture
We are offering a starting salary of between £45,641 and £81,263, with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary for the appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.
