Join Our Transport Department! Due to business growth, we are currently seeking dedicated Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers to strengthen our Tipper, Concrete Mixer, Low Loader and Plant moving teams at our head office in Ipswich. As crucial members of our Transport department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of our plant equipment, aggregate, concrete and muck away to and from our customers' sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Class 1 and Class 2 HGVs.
- Deliver and collect materials and plant equipment from various sites across the UK.
- Maintain a well-organised, clean, and tidy vehicle.
- Competitive hourly rate with a pay increase after successful completion of probation.
- Monday to Friday with ad hoc Saturday and overtime available.
- Supportive work environment with a focus on safety and professional growth.
- Hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV license.
- In date CPC and Digital Tacho card.
- Possess current ADR or NPORS N132.
- Flexibility to work longer hours when required.
- You must have previous commercial driving experience and good geographical knowledge.
- Able to complete paperwork with 100% accuracy.
- Must have 12 months UK commercial driving experience.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Experience with plant equipment.
