We are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a major civils package on the Sizewell C nuclear new build project. This is a key supervisory role overseeing groundworks gangs on a high-compliance, safety‑critical site.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate groundworks gangs delivering drainage, ducting, concrete, earthworks and associated civils.
- Ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with RAMS and site procedures.
- Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and task supervision.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and programme targets.
- Liaise with Site Management, Engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site compliance.
Requirements:
- CSCS Gold Supervisor Card.
- SSSTS.
- CITB HSE Supervisor (SupS).
- Proven experience supervising groundworks gangs on large civil or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and permit‑controlled environments.
- Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively on site.
- Previous experience on major infrastructure or energy projects.
- Familiarity with strict compliance and reporting standards.
- Evidence of right to work in the UK.
