About the Role

The Opportunity

At EDF, we’re powering a cleaner, low-carbon future. In Customers Business & Wholesale, we play a vital role in delivering competitive, innovative energy solutions across Wholesale, Retail and EDF Business. We’re looking for a Deal Coordinator to join our Structuring & Product team – a role that sits at the heart of our commercial activity and supports the delivery of high-value, complex electricity supply contracts. This isn’t a typical coordination role. You’ll be at the centre of some of our most strategic deals – shaping tender responses, working cross-functionally, and developing real commercial insight. Reporting into the Deal Structuring Manager, you’ll work closely with Sales, Pricing, Credit, Legal and Wholesale teams to ensure we deliver compelling, competitive and compliant offers to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning and coordinating the end-to-end tender process for key business supply opportunities
  • Managing incoming tenders and queries, ensuring high-quality, timely responses
  • Partnering with Sales to understand and challenge customer requirements
  • Translating customer needs into clear inputs for internal teams (Pricing, Credit, Legal)
  • Supporting the development of commercially competitive pricing strategies
  • Bringing together outputs to create compelling customer propositions
  • Ensuring all deals meet internal governance and approval standards
  • Supporting senior Deal Structurers on complex and strategic negotiations

Who You Are

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Commercial awareness – understanding how decisions impact pricing, risk and customer outcomes
  • An interest in developing knowledge of energy markets, products and risk

This role suits someone who wants to move beyond coordination and build a commercial career in procurement and deal structuring.

Pay, Benefits and Culture

The role is location‑flexible and can be carried out remotely. Most of the wider team is based in either of our London or Exeter offices. Alongside a starting salary of £36,400 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market‑leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days and more.

At EDF, we believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we offer you the freedom to develop a career that’s unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it’s your journey, powered by us. Everyone is welcome at EDF; we’re committed to building a workforce that reflects gender balance, social mobility and inclusion of minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities and those with disabilities. As a Disability Confident employer, we will support applicants requiring adjustments. Join us and find your success at EDF!
