Main Duties

  • Oversee all environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities within the turbine hall.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and site procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to site teams on health and safety standards.
  • Report and manage incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture across site operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and deliver updates to management teams.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and company safety requirements at all times.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) - foundational qualification.
  • CSCS Card (appropriate level for site access).
  • IOSH Membership (at least Tech IOSH level, demonstrating professional competence).
  • Hands‑on major project or infrastructure experience, preferably in power generation, nuclear, or heavy engineering.
  • Strong familiarity with UK health and safety legislation and standards.

For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
