Document Control Specialist – HPC Project

Manage and control project documentation to ensure alignment with company quality procedures and client requirements for Bilfinger UK’s HPC Project.

Responsibilities

  • Check document accuracy against operational and client requirements.
  • Review documents formally.
  • File documents in the Document Management System (DMS).
  • Confirm all errors are corrected before client submission.
  • Archive documents.
  • Set up and maintain the document package (List of Deliverables – LOD).
  • Expedite missing and due revisions to the document package.
  • Drive improvements in on‑time delivery performance by prioritising outstanding documents.
  • Liaise with project departments to expedite documentation and ensure correct maintenance in the DMS.
  • Ensure internal on‑time submission before client delivery.
  • Conduct monthly and weekly document performance analyses.
  • Establish weekly and daily interface meetings with document control.
  • Determine current document status.
  • Identify and if necessary, escalade ongoing document issues to the document control lead.
  • Provide detailed status updates to project management.
  • Provide document expediting support and coordination with document control.
  • Issue documentation through CEMAR.
  • Train new personnel on the DMS.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in nuclear environments.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Knowledge of document control procedures and best practices.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
