Dalkia has an opportunity for a Compliance Engineer to join our team supporting the facilities maintenance programme at Sizewell C. As part of the contract management team, this role is responsible for completing all aspects of the Pre Planned Maintenance (PPM) Statutory compliance tasks assigned by the contract support team aligned with the client agreed PPM Planner. This role will work closely with the Contract Supervisor to ensure Statutory Compliance is delivered in line with site Health and Safety, contractual, client and business criteria including adherence to relevant policy and procedures and achievement of operational objectives (including KPIs). The role will drive compliance performance as well as ensuring safety is of a very high standard and risks are minimised. Communication with the Contract Support team, electronic notes and description of any follow up works will be of high priority.

Responsibilities

  • QSHE: Ensure implementation of Dalkia processes, comply with the Contract's safe systems of work, Point of Work Risk Assessments and Toolbox talks completed by the Supervisor.
  • Planning: Daily responsibility and accountability for time keeping and productivity in order to minimise costs and maximise profits on each task. Meet agreed completion dates for all PPM's in reducing target date failures (TD’s), and work within the requirements of current Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Contract Delivery: Liaise and communicate directly with the Supervisor on a daily basis and ensure the continuity and smooth running of individual PPM tasks are adhered to on a daily basis. Take ownership to motivate, lead and encourage a strong Health and Safety culture and team building at all times.
  • Commercial: Understand the contract deliverables and the implications of good performance and practices in order to minimise risk.
  • Reporting: Lead the understanding and utilisation of the contract CAFM system and best practice. Ensure all tasks are opened and closed correctly with the actual time assigned to the task. Include all electronic notes, paperwork, or photographs to substantiate the checks completed. Sense and quality check all items uploaded as required on to the CAFM system. Provide reporting/updates including the Supervisor and Contract Support teams as necessary to demonstrate the fulfilment of contract requirements. Help to produce data for inclusion within monthly reports to customer in relation to both operational, health and safety and commercial aspects.
  • Customer: Build a strong customer focus among all staff, ensuring timely liaison in line with escalation policy.
