The Opportunity

This 12-month placement offers a starting salary of ÂŁ24,500 and the chance to work at #Heysham 1 Power Station within our Commercial Department.

This placement is your launchpad into a career in Business Analyst – Procurement – where you’ll learn, grow and make a real impact. You’ll be part of our Procurement Engineering Team, supporting daily operations and contributing to the enhancement of our Supply Chain function.

What You’ll Be Doing

During your Business Analyst – Procurement Industrial Placement, you’ll gain practical experience in supply chain delivery and procurement operations. Past students have contributed to safety campaigns, developed analytical methods to optimise performance, and supported contractor negotiations for major projects.

You’ll apply your academic knowledge to real industry contexts, supported by mentors and experienced teams. You’ll also explore how other departments within the power station operate. This will broaden your understanding of the energy industry and help you build a strong foundation for your future career.

Your Work Location

You’ll be based on site at #Heysham 1 Power Station, within the Commercial Department.

Who You Are

To be eligible for this EDF industrial placement, you need to be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain or Procurement.
