VGC Group are recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join our client's team in Avonmouth, Bristol.
Duties:
- Reading drawings and understanding the specifications
- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing metal
- Joining metal parts using different welding techniques based on the process requirements
- Testing the quality and integrity of the welded structures
- Maintaining the welding equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety and efficiency
Key Skills, Experience and Certificates:
- CSCS Card or JIB
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Fabrication and Welding Engineering
This role is offered on a long term contract basis (PAYE).
Schedule:
- Monday‑Thursday 7:00 am‑3:30 pm
- Friday 7:00 am‑2:30 pm
