The Opportunity

As a Commercial Manager, you'll support the successful delivery of the Responsible Designer (RD) contract at Hinkley Point C, helping drive commercial excellence across a critical engineering delivery function. After approximately 18-24 months, you'll relocate to France to join EDF SA and support EPR2 projects such as Penly, Bugey, or Gravelines, gaining exposure to international project delivery and large-scale nuclear programmes. You'll need to offer business-level proficiency in French communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise across NEC contract management, compensation events, and commercial governance in a highly regulated environment. You'll strengthen your ability to lead on complex financial decisions, influence senior stakeholders, and support the development of commercial team capability, positioning yourself for long-term progression within EDF's global project and commercial leadership community.

  • Acting as the key commercial interface for project and engineering stakeholders
  • Leading contract management activities, including compensation events and change control
  • Building collaborative relationships with supply chain partners to drive value and performance
  • Supporting reporting, governance, and contract close-out in line with HPC procedures
