Opportunity
As an Assistant Project Manager within EDF EPR Engineering UK, you'll play an important role in coordinating workforce planning, competency forecasting, and organisational development activities that support the delivery of Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. Your work will help ensure the right skills and resources are in place to support our journey towards An Electric Britain and help Britain achieve net zero. You'll join us on a salary starting of Β£50,000 per annum. This is a 12-month secondment opportunity based at our Bristol Aztec West office, with hybrid working arrangements that include three days per week in the office and the flexibility to work from home or another EDF office for the remaining two days.
Working closely with senior stakeholders β including Discipline Managers and business leaders β you'll gain exposure to strategic workforce planning, organisational transformation, and resource forecasting. You'll also play a key role in supporting staffing decisions, developing performance insights, and helping drive continuous improvement across the business.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating workforce planning activities, ensuring forecasts, structures, and resource data remain accurate and aligned to business needs.
- Supporting competency and skills forecasting exercises, including mid and long-term workforce planning activities.
- Working with stakeholders across the business to consolidate data and support resource and staffing decisions.
- Monitoring workforce, budget, and performance information while maintaining reporting and tracking tools.
- Supporting operational excellence initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience within project management, workforce planning, resource planning, or a related business support environment.
- Experience managing, analysing, and maintaining large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, competency planning, resource forecasting, or budget management processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to produce reports, analyse data, and support decision-making.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
