As an Assistant Project Manager within the BOP1 civil works programme, you will support the delivery of one of the largest and most technically complex buildings on site, helping to drive safe, high‑quality construction that generates low‑carbon electricity for millions of homes.
Salary starts at £36,400 per annum.
This hybrid role is based at Hinkley Point C near Bridgwater, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite.
After approximately 18‑24 months you will relocate to France to join EDF SA on an EPR2 project such as Penly, Bugey or Gravelines.
Business‑level proficiency in French communication skills is required.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in delivering major civil construction packages within BOP1.
- Coordinate project meetings, track actions, and maintain accurate project records.
- Gather and report progress updates, risks and key information to stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support integrated project delivery.
- Help ensure delivery aligns with safety, quality, cost and schedule expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting project delivery within civil engineering or construction environments.
- Experience coordinating project information, reports and progress updates.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across engineering, construction or project teams.
- Ability to communicate project updates and technical information clearly to stakeholders.
- Understanding of civil works with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information.
- Business‑level proficiency in French communication skills.
