As a Assistant Project Manager, you\’ll work as part of the Digital team to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of a wide range of IT and digital initiatives. You\’ll play a key role in ensuring that digital systems, platforms, and tools are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with the project\’s broader objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the most complex infrastructure projects in Europe, where digital transformation is critical to success.

Qualifications

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Business, Project Management, or a related field (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of project management principles (e.g. PRINCE2, APM,)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g. MS Project, SharePoint)
  • Experience in a major infrastructure, construction, or regulated industry (desirable)

The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

About the Project

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is a nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company. EDF remains a key shareholder in Sizewell C and the business therefore maintains close links to EDF as a part of its ‘nuclear family’.
